Ah! I am sooo excited to share Lindsey and Colton’s engagement session with you! Especially since these two are one of the sweetest couple’s I have ever met! Chad and I first met Lindsey and Colton on April 27th, 2019. And it was such a beautiful day. Lindsey’s sister, Alexis, was getting married. As Alexis’ maid of honor, Lindsey was selflessly serving Alexis throughout the entire day. Clearly there is an incredibly loving bond in between these two sisters. For that reason, I am truly excited we to have the opportunity to serve and love on Lindsey the same way she enthusiastically served Alexis!
Lindsey and Colton began dating in high school. At the time, Colton was 15 and Lindsey was 14. As a result of being so young, Lindsey and Colton weren’t expected to continue dating after high school. But these Berryhill High School sweethearts were determined to last forever.

Finally, graduation came and went. You know how life just never seems to slow down. The following fall Lindsey went off to college. Only coming home for weekends and holidays. And during this season Colton knew….he just knew he had to spend the rest of his life with *his* girl. Lindsey, Colton’s best friend. The girl Colton could take to a formal event or spend the weekend fishing with at the lake. The woman he wanted to spend every moment with. Not just on weekends and holidays. At that time, Colton began planning how he was going to ask Lindsey to marry him.
So on a perfectly dreamy day in June, Colton got down on one knee in Lindsey’s grandparents backyard while surrounded by people they loved most. Lindsey’s parents and grandparents were standing near by looking on with love filled eyes. Then Colton asked the girl of his dreams, his high school sweetheart, and best friend to be his wife.
