I have seen Kara’s work firsthand many times. She has been the florist at countless weddings I have photographed. However, I hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting Kara, the owner of Joyous Blooms, in person until we worked on a styled shoot together in early 2021. I was instantly captivated by her authenticity and joy.

As we started planning Kara’s branding session, I got a deep look into the heart of her business. Joyous Blooms values vibrant colors, joy, and meaningful relationships. Kara believes when she can truly get to know her clients it will empower her to serve them at a higher level.
Kara serves her clients in big and small ways. She works hard to bring her client’s vision to life. Kara offers a variety of vessels for her clients to source for their big day. One of my favorite small ways Kara serves her clients is by putting a name tag on each boutonniere and corsage for her wedding clients. She always tries to be a few steps ahead of her clients and answer questions before they are asked. This allows her clients to relax and trust Kara throughout the entire experience.
Kara is a loving wife and mother. She homeschools her three precious daughters. Kara values wholesome hobbies and simple living. She is an expert gardener. Dances in the kitchen when cooking dinner with her girls. Enjoys things like canning and watching Golden girls. Kara works hard to keep work/life boundaries. This allows Kara to serve her clients and family well.
